Terms of Service

Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoloFreedom ("the Service"), operated by SoloFreedom ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SoloFreedom is a web-based tool that analyzes audio input to detect musical keys and recommend scales for guitarists and bassists. The Service includes free limited usage and paid unlimited access.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address, username, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free and Paid Access

The Service offers 3 free analyses per device. After the free tier is exhausted, continued use requires a paid subscription at the current listed price. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice.

5. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the interval you selected (monthly) until you cancel. All fees are in US dollars.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription option in the app, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@solofreedom.org within 14 days of the charge.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

SoloFreedom provides key detection and scale recommendations as suggestions based on audio analysis algorithms. Results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. The Service is intended as a practice and learning aid, not as a definitive musical authority. Use your own musical judgment alongside the tool's recommendations.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to bypass the free usage limits, creating multiple accounts to circumvent payment, reverse-engineering the audio analysis algorithms, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and algorithms within SoloFreedom are the property of SoloFreedom and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoloFreedom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
